OUR STORY

ORO was created to bring a focused collection of contemporary European design to Colorado. The showroom builds on the legacy of Kitchen Distributors and the vision of the Hartman family, whose work with architects, designers, and builders has shaped the region’s kitchen and architectural design landscape for decades.

After seven decades focused on kitchens, ORO expands that expertise into the broader living environment.

The showroom presents a curated collection of furniture, interior systems, lighting, surfaces, and objects that complement the way modern homes are designed today. Each brand is selected with intention. Every piece earns its place through proportion, material integrity, and longevity.

ORO is designed as a working environment for the design community. Architects and designers use the space to review plans, compare materials, study scale, and refine selections with clarity. Our team supports projects from early conversations through specification and delivery, helping align design intent with budget, timeline, and technical detail.

Our team works closely with project teams to provide guidance on product selection, technical coordination, and procurement, helping ensure that each project moves forward with clarity and confidence.

  • We offer tailored design guidance for residential and commercial projects, helping translate design intent into appropriate product selections. For projects requiring extended planning or design support, a retainer may be required prior to beginning work.

  • Our curated collection allows us to guide clients toward the most appropriate solutions for their project. We help narrow options efficiently and provide clear recommendations across our collection based on design goals, functionality, and timeline.

  • ORO brings together a focused group of European brands that complement contemporary architecture. Our team helps select pieces that work cohesively within the overall design, considering scale, proportion, materials, and performance.

  • Material selection plays a critical role in achieving a cohesive interior environment. We assist with reviewing samples, comparing finishes, and coordinating materials across multiple product categories to ensure a refined and consistent palette.

  • We can assist with planning considerations to help ensure that selected pieces integrate well within the architecture of the space. Our team can review plans and provide guidance on layouts, furniture placement, and closet system configurations to support the overall design intent.

    For projects involving custom closet systems, we provide planning support to help create wardrobe and storage solutions tailored to the layout and organization needs of the space.

  • We provide product specifications, dimensions, and finish information to support the selection and ordering process. When available, we can also provide supporting documentation from our manufacturing partners to assist design teams with project coordination.

  • From initial selection through final delivery, ORO supports the ordering and coordination process across our manufacturer partners. We help confirm specifications, manage lead times, and coordinate logistics to ensure a smooth procurement process.
